Cook Time: 10-15 minutes

Difficulty: 2

Yield: 4 servingsĀ

Ingredients:

1 container firm tofu

1/4 cup all-purpose flour or cornstarchĀ

Ā¼ cup vegetable oilĀ

1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil

1 tsp garlic, minced

Ā½ cup Raon Gochujang Marinade SauceĀ

1 tbsp honey

Ā¼ cup green onion, choppedĀ

1 tsp toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Press the tofu with a kitchen paper towel and squeeze out as much liquid as possible.Ā
  2. Cut the tofu into big cubes.
  3. Pat and dry the tofu to remove the excess liquid.Ā
  4. Place the flour on a plate and gently roll each tofu piece on the flour with your fingers to ensure all sides are covered.
  5. In a large skillet, add vegetable oil, then bring it up to medium-high heat.
  6. Once the oil is hot, add the coated tofu to the pan in small batches, so they have room between pieces and don't stick together.Ā
  7. Fry the tofu until they are crispy and golden browned.Ā
  8. Place the fried tofu on a plate and set it aside.
  9. In a medium skillet, add vegetable oil and heat over medium heat.Ā
  10. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, and then add the Gochujang marinade sauce, water, and honey.
  11. Cook for another 3 minutes.
  12. Once the sauce becomes thicker, add the fried tofu to the pan.
  13. Toss the tofu around to coat, and then add the green onion, and mix them well.
  14. Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top!
  15. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
  16. Enjoy!
